My experience with Aventuro Ireland was brilliant. I heard about Aventuro Ireland after being handed a leaflet in school, and from then on I attended a meeting with Sinéad and her team and we organised my exchange in France from there. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I can't thank the Aventuro team enough for guiding me through it all the way. I found a love for the French language that I didn't know I had before, and I have made friends for life.
My family really enjoyed this experience of having Flore, my French sister back here in Ireland for a month. We went lots of places and did lots of things together with Flore that we would have never done had she not been here. We really enjoyed getting to know her and helping her along as she improved her English here in Ireland.
This was definitely one of the best aspects of my experience with Aventuro Ireland. I felt Sinead really took on board anything I wanted when organising the exchange, no matter how small, and I was delighted with the family I was matched with. They were really friendly, helpful and so interested in myself and my family. They couldn't do enough to make sure I had a brilliant time in France, offering me so many unforgettable experiences.
Yes, I felt should I have had any problems I could have contacted Sinead or Saoirse at any time.
The best aspects of this exchange were without a doubt growing to love, learn and speak the language and secondly being welcomed so warmly into Flore's family and extended family.
My fondest memory is of the day I spent in Paris with Flore and her Dad, sightseeing around the city, and also the days spent with Flore's little cousins at her grandparent's home in the countryside, where we spent the hot afternoons in the pool, playing games and relaxing!
